Juliana Farrait-Rodriguez, the former wife of Harlem heroin kingpin Frank Lucas upon whom the movie American Gangster was based, has been arrested by the DEA for allegedly "trying to cut a cocaine deal in Puerto Rico" as reported by Jose Martinez for the Daily News.

She was busted inside an unidentified hotel after allegedly selling two kilos of coke to undercover agents for $60,000 as reported by Murray Weiss and Bruce Golding for the New York Post: "The former beauty queen -- who was called 'Eva' in the the 2007 film that starred Denzel Washington as Lucas -- had been under surveillance by the DEA ever since a deal to sell 10 kilos in New York six months ago fell through. It was unclear why the earlier deal collapsed."
