NEW YORK (CBS) The mother of Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire was arrested Saturday by Scottsdale, Ariz. police for operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device. The device acts as a breathalyzer and is designed to prevent people who are legally drunk from driving.

According to a police report, Carrie Stoudemire, 54, was stopped Saturday at 3:15 p.m. by an officer who noticed that her Lincoln Navigator was cruising at 60 miles per hour while straddling two lanes.

Then, because apparently someone has to get tased at every public gathering,.... we had Boston Celtic chump Marquis Daniel's STEP-Dad getting loose on security during a game. That's what happens when your STEP-son doesn't play..... you become an angry hood father that gets clowned at the barbershop. FAIL!!

WESH-TV in Orlando reports that the stepfather of Boston Celtics guard Marquis Daniels was arrested and then tasered by local police while attending the Celtics-Magic Eastern Conference Finals game of the NBA playoffs Tuesday night.

In the official arrest account, Orlando police officers responded to a “disturbance” in a seating area behind one of the baskets inside Orlando’s Amway Arena at 10:55 p.m. When officers attempted to remove Buie from his seat, he allegedly said, “I’m not going, (expletive) you.”

Beyond the charge against Buie, no other details in the police report suggest what caused the disturbance that led to Buie’s arrest. Though the report does give specifics about the alleged, repeated attempts made by police to subdue Buie, which led to him being tasered.
